Travis & Julie - Chief Disrupters

Travis and Julie are long time health and fitness advocates, spending the majority of their professional careers as international executive consultants to that industry. Being longtime local residents of Tulare County, active cyclists, and happy customers of Visalia Cyclery: they decided to invest in the community through our local bike shop which they purchased in 2018.

Julie began riding at a very young age and many of her childhood memories are associated with bike rides with her siblings.  Travis began racing BMX at an early age and as a teenager he would frequently take long road bike rides up and down the coast of California. Today you will often find Travis & Julie and many in their family joining in on shop rides, local club rides, and at local cycling events.  In addition to these local rides, Travis often competes in road and off-road triathlons.  He has raced in the USA National Triathlon Championships for both road and off-road, qualifying to complete in the World Triathlon Championships 2019 and 2020.

Although Travis divides much of his riding time between his Specialized brand road bikes and mountain bikes, Julie’s favorite bike is her Specialized Turbo Como e-bike.  Travis & Julie are overjoyed to be a part of the team at Visalia Cyclery and look forward to continuing to positively impact our community through cycling of all genres.
